  • During the AAIM conference, where chief residents of internal medicine from all over the country gathered with their program directors, administrators, and associate program directors, I was able to create a vast network of contacts aimed at improving the quality of internal medicine programs in the US
  • One of my initiatives was to establish a WhatsApp group called 'Master Chief Networking Group' to bring all chief residents together in one place
  • This group has been instrumental in teaching new chiefs how to handle leadership roles, resolve conflicts, and enhance their programs
  • I was also honored to meet the leadership of internal medicine from across the country, expanding my network and gaining valuable insights
  • Most Meaningful - this group allowed 234 chief residents from all over the country to contact and learn a lot about how to improve their programs, communications between programs is extremely important and can absolutely be a game changer, learning from other people mistakes is an honor

  • As a volunteer and team leader of the 'No Ice Cream Team,' I lead a program addressing nutritional disparities in underserved communities by focusing on education and access
  • Our initiative had two main components: first, we developed an educational course for medical residents to equip them with practical nutritional advice to share with their patients; second, we coordinated with New York State to provide healthy food products to individuals who couldn't afford them, organizing community workshops to promote healthy eating
  • Additionally, I initiated a low-salt diet program in the heart failure clinic, providing resources and education to improve patient outcomes

  • I had the privilege of visiting the ACC conference in Atlanta this year, It was an extremely fruitful experience where we presented a case about an infected Stent leading to shunt formation, also I met hundreds of doctors and scholars from all over the world united together in one place for on reason which is learning more about the heart
  • I enjoyed this experience as it taught me a lot of new cutting edge advancement in Cardiology and most importantly the importance of persistent learning

  • After finishing my USMLE Step 1, a friend asked for my help with his studying
  • I assisted him, and he later offered to hire me as a tutor
  • This led to the creation of Medicogenesis, a company dedicated to tutoring and mentoring medical students
  • At its peak, we helped nearly 35+ people pass USMLE Step 1 and had one employee, also these classes were recorded and uploaded on Youtube and every now and then I receive a thank you email from a student who passed her/his exam
  • This experience significantly enhanced my basic science knowledge and improved my teaching skills as I taught First Aid word by word many times
  • Ultimately, I had to close the business to focus entirely on my residency, reflecting my commitment and prioritization skills
