• Promote and take part in several fundraisers to support the program

• Spent some time playing with and watching children for Rolando Elementary's after school program
• Watched over the kids of those who attended events for the Helix Music program

• Responsible for not only myself, but for my section and other students in the program, making sure that they feel welcome, supported, and comfortable within the program. Ensuring that we are all meeting or going beyond standard and expectations
• Effectively Communicating with other peers in leadership to plan events, and with my section to relay information and check in
• Planning and Organizing "sectionals," sessions of teaching music and rhythms to them, ensuring that they know their music and are not falling behind
• Demonstrating problem-solving and creativity to find new ways to support and keep kids motivated throughout the year, as well as providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
