08.2022 - Current
  • Analyzed operations to improve logistics, achieving cost reduction, and increase in supply chain efficiency.
  • Created mathematical models and simulations using Excel to predict outcomes and optimize resource distribution, leading to an improvement in resource utilization, and reduction in operational costs.
  • Supervised a team of five analysts, guiding them in data analysis and model development.
  • Delivered insights and recommendations to senior leadership, directly influencing decisions that resulted in an increase in performance effectiveness, and a reduction in resource wastage.
  • Evaluated costs and risks, driving cost in savings, and enhancing operational performance.

Senior Operations Research Analyst, GS-1515-13

TRADOC Proponent Office-Echelons Above Brigade (TPO-EAB)
09.2019 - 08.2022
  • Assessed data to improve resource management for national security operations, increasing efficiency, and lowering expenses.
  • Crafted advanced simulation tools for decision-making processes related to resource management, enhancing clarity on personnel assignments during critical national security operations.
  • Managed teams to address operational challenges, enhance mission readiness, and cut delays.
  • Mentored junior analysts in data analysis, statistical methods, and modeling.
  • Worked with senior leadership to present findings and implement practical solutions, resulting in an improvement in operational efficiency and a reduction in process delays across ongoing operations.

Senior Operations Research Analyst

Joint Center for International Security Force Assistance (JCISFA)
10.2016 - 09.2019
  • Documented 10+ requirements for operations research projects, collaborating with 5+ stakeholders for timely, accurate launches.
  • Conducted surveys and analyses to enhance force deployment strategies, improving operational readiness, and reducing planning cycle time.
  • Used statistical models to support budget planning and long-term strategic decisions, which improved forecasting accuracy, and enhanced resource allocation efficiency.
  • Partnered with senior leaders to integrate research findings into actionable recommendations, resulting in an improvement in mission effectiveness.

Accomplishments

  • Senior Research Analyst for an Army Aviation Portfolio project that provided the Army Office of Analytics and Integration (OAI) and Army Aviation (G8-FDV) with insights that will impact long-term future budgetary decisions based on detailed and thorough analysis.
  • Led a team of fifteen personnel across three directorates in two geographically dispersed locations to conduct cross portfolio analysis that included force development, cost analysis, and scenario development to inform ongoing Army Analytic Priorities.
  • Designed and implemented processes to develop and refine all current and future study Data Collection Management Plan (DCMP) and Essential Elements of Analysis (EEAs).
  • Awarded for best presentation at the Army Operations Research Symposium (AORS) in September 2023.
  • Published a paper with the Winter Simulation Conference in August 2023 and and is available for review in the Research Gate Database.
  • Developed the Risk methodology for the Balancing Aviation Modernization study to inform senior leaders of the potential severity of impact on aviation operations, budget, timelines, and platforms.
  • Identified critical data sources for collecting Apache ammunition data to develop an Attack Guidance Matrix (AGM) for aviation munitions. This matrix provided senior leadership insights into aviation munitions, identifying those with optimal lethality and cost-effectiveness, as well as less frequently used ones with reduced lethality and higher costs.
  • I am currently engaged in the development of my dissertation for my PhD in Organizational Leadership and have achieved ABD (All But Dissertation) status.
