I am a dedicated 10th-grade student at Eastlake High School with a commendable 3.4 unweighted GPA. I have over 3 ½ years of valuable work experience at Ruocco Equestrian Training, actively involved in assisting the trainer in preparing horses for young riders and ensuring their well-being. The opportunity to intern at The Salk Institution aligns perfectly with my profound interest in science, which has grown exponentially over time. Aspiring to pursue a major in aerospace engineering or anthropology with a minor in psychology at Columbia University, my enthusiasm for science was initially sparked through engaging in school science projects. Through this internship, I aim to expand my knowledge and appreciation for the field while gaining insights into the responsibilities of scientists.
