Bright Ekhaguere

Dedicated and empathetic Human Developmental Sciences major at UC San Diego with a strong foundation in child and human development, patient-centered care, and interpersonal communication. Through volunteer work at the Afterschool Clubhouse, I developed skills in observation, behavior management, and adapting support to diverse cultural and developmental needs. My customer service experience at Chipotle honed my ability to multitask in fast-paced environments, work collaboratively with a team, and maintain professionalism under pressure. Living with sickle cell disease has given me firsthand insight into patient care, resilience, and the importance of compassionate healthcare, fueling my commitment to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. I bring a unique combination of academic preparation, real-world caregiving perspective, and strong work ethic that make me well-suited for a medical assistant role.
