I answer phone calls and address questions from patients and fill their prescriptions. I also stock, label, and inventory medication to keep accurate stock levels. I also compound sterile intravenous medications in a clean room and monitored the pressure levels, temperatures with a very high attention to detail.

• Maintain patient confidentiality when handling records and sensitive data, prepare intravenous solutions, admixtures, and other solutions using aseptic technique, compound non sterile solutions, safely prepare and dispense unit dose medications intended for patient use, safe handling of hazardous medication preparations, deliver patient medications to the correct medication bin and floor, restock Pyxis machines with correct medications and rotate stock based on earliest expiration, demonstrate proper garbing and aseptic technique when sterile compounding, calculate correct volume to be added to solution when preparing intravenous solutions, perform proper cleaning and disinfecting of all areas of the sterile compounding suite, assist in the training of new hires within the pharmacy department, participate in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements

• Accurately entered patient information into pharmacy software systems, selected appropriate medicine and measured dosages to fill prescriptions under pharmacist direction, provided support to pharmacists during immunization clinics, completed billing transactions accurately using third-party payer systems, stocked and replenished shelves to remove out-of-date items from inventory, triaged incoming phone calls, assisting callers or escalating to pharmacist as indicated, assist in the receiving and restocking of drug inventory delivery daily

• Kept checkout area clean and tidy by organizing shelves and wiping down belt, handled customer complaints in a professional manner while communicating solutions effectively, greeted customers warmly upon entering the store and provided assistance when needed, performed daily opening and closing duties such as counting money in the register drawer and reconciling receipts against sales totals, answered incoming calls promptly while providing relevant information about products or services offered, balanced cash drawers at end of shift to ensure accurate records of transactions processed, maintained cleanliness of the store and ensured that items were properly stocked on shelves, used the point of sale system to accurately complete transactions, utilized strong communication skills to build relationships with colleagues from different departments, participated in team meetings to discuss strategies for improving customer experience within the store environment
