Highlights while working at Google:

  • Project Luna - creator and facilitator of monthly diversity and inclusion workforce training. Developed and organized all content for the Cloud Active Candidates Team training, including research for articles on DEI best practices, statistics, videos and other media. Created a repository of materials for teams outside of Cloud that were looking to duplicate efforts on their respective teams. Developed an evaluation in order to track the efficacy of training.
  • Project Top Gun - developed an internal tracking system within Ghire for qualified candidates to be revisited for future role openings. To date, this internal tagging system has been used over 1000 times to identify these candidates, who were mostly members of underrepresented groups.

  • Spearheaded all diversity and inclusion initiatives, designed to boost participation among underrepresented students.

Accomplishments

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Designed, developed and presented a 12 month diversity and inclusion strategy and training at Google that resulted in a more integrated and cohesive approach to ensuring an inclusive and highly engaged environment that addresses the needs of talent acquisition and the Google Cloud organization as a whole (See project luna within Google Cloud highlights.)
  • Presented and authored Google's talent acquisition Diversity and inclusion aspirational goals and recruitment strategies. Partnered with the Black Googler Network ERG in the effort as well as several other events.
  • Created and implemented broad diversity and inclusion strategies for International Studies Abroad, a company made up of 1,100 employees. Served as the chair of the ISA Diversity committee for 3 years. Strategies included cultural awareness campaigns, built a DEI resource website for students, and competency initiatives, employee and leadership training, and program partnerships with corporate employee resource groups such as Gay at ISA.
  • Wrote and facilitated student and university trainings and orientations to called Race and Ethnicity Abroad. Partnered with universities across the country and conducted orientations at schools such as University of Massachusetts - Amherst, Trinity College and the University of Denver.
  • Led the project management and implementation of a high priority corporate initiative in partnership with 60 senior business leaders to drive the company's organizational change and employee engagement efforts.
  • Delivered a presentation at the national Diversity Abroad Conference on barriers underrepresented students face in international education. foundational position papers on topics including workplace flexibility, compensation, and experienced employee engagement to initiate the strategy creation for the aforementioned project.

Talent Acquisition and Strategic Resource Management:

  • Established a talent selection process for hiring managers to uncover and counteract hidden unconscious biases to properly identify talent resulting in a more diverse candidate pool.

Relationship Management:
