As an aspiring graduate nurse, I bring hands-on experience gained from a comprehensive nurse apprentice program and clinical rotations in med-surg, critical care, resource, and the emergency department. With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, I excel in fast-paced environments, showcasing time management, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to handling critical situations. Eager to leverage my skills and knowledge as a graduate nurse, I am dedicated to contributing positively to patient outcomes and team efficiency.
Participating in the Nurse Apprentice Program has allowed me to accumulate 1872 clinical hours, a significant increase from the typical 464 hours allocated for our senior year. This program has enriched my knowledge and skills across various med-surg floors, honing my abilities in time management and prioritization. Additionally, my role in resource has broadened my exposure to critical care areas, enhancing my adaptability across departments. Currently in the emergency department, I am refining my critical thinking and decision-making capabilities, thriving in a high-pressure environment.
