  • The Job of being a MRO Store Coordinator I receive in packages from vendors of all sorts that ship parts and among other materials we use here at Ashley furniture. I mainly deal with parts that our maintenance use to fix our machines here or anything else within our facility. I check parts to make sure they are correct as well as in good shape before I receive it in. Me receiving the parts in the system will send the purchaser notice where the vendors will get paid. I Organize the MRO Stores by entering received items from vendors into the inventory database. My biggest part of my job is receiving and organizing the incoming materials and parts to make sure that the product isn't damaged. Unload trucks and trailers from vendors and sign for merchandise. I Identify materials by labeling and numbering individual parts that are received from vendors or customers. Maintain accurate record keeping and data input/output of inventory into the inventory database. I Maintain security of MRO Stores by controlling who comes in; do not leave doors open or unattended. I also Perform regular checks to make sure all items are accounted for.

We also take clients on outings whether its out into the community, to visit with family, or to the voc center where they have contract work they do Monday through Friday. As a DSA we help the clients learn more things so they gain more independence which is what they all want.
  • Every day the clients take medication morning, afternoon, and night, it is our job they get those medications. With this job you have to have patience as well as a very good warm heart because it is not an easy job to deal with everyday.

  • This company build electrical motors all of all sorts. My job as a machine operator was to start up and shut down a big machine that made the computer chips for an electrical motor. I had to wear safety equipment of all kinds since I was working with delicate parts that could not be touched by our hands so gloves had to stay on at all times. I had to document everything like part numbers or down time I had due to machine difficulties or it was break time. I had to keep my area clean as well as the machine cleaned at all times. I also had to report back parts after my shift was done everyday to be ready for the next day.
