
Detail-oriented operations officer with proven experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating events. Known for reliability and strong organizational skills, ensuring successful execution of training and ceremonies.
Weapons accountability
Signs rifles, swords, and sometimes other gear in and out of the arms room before and after drills, ceremonies, and training.
Keeps a current log or record of which cadet has which weapon and when it was issued/returned.
Ensures all weapons are unloaded, safe, and properly secured when not in use.
Armory management and safety
Maintains the arms room in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.
Follows the school’s and instructors’ safety rules for handling and storing weapons.
Helps conduct inventories of weapons and related equipment, often with the SAI/NSI (instructors) present.
Support for ceremonies and events
Issues and collects ceremonial weapons (rifles, swords, sabers) and sometimes flags for Color Guard, Honor Guard, parades, and inspections
Makes sure the right equipment is ready and in good condition for each event.
Reporting and coordination
Reports to the Battalion Commander, Executive Officer, and/or directly to the instructors (SAI/NSI) about armory status and any issues.
Coordinates with other staff (S4/Logistics, S2/Security) on storage, maintenance, and security of high‑value items.

Selects and assigns cadet instructors or team leaders for drills, classes, and activities (with instructor approval)
Coordinating and running events
Organizes and helps run:
Drill practices and competitions
Color Guard and Honor Guard events
Parades, reviews, and ceremonies
Field Days, Veterans Day programs, banquets, and other special events
Coordinates sign-up sheets and makes sure enough cadets are assigned to each event.
Ensures team commanders (drill team, color guard, athletics, etc.) know their roles and are prepared
Logistics and facilities
Reserves and prepares training areas: drill field, classrooms, gym, etc.
Inspects training areas before use and ensures they’re set up correctly for ceremonies or drills
Works with other staff on buses, transportation, catering, and other event
Leadership and chain of command
Reports primarily to the Executive Officer (XO) and supports the Commanding Officer (CO)
Sets an example in conduct, leadership, and performance.
May assume command of the unit if both the CO and XO are absent.
