• Rig up Supervisor is just a fancy term for (most reliable) but no all jokes aside, the Rig up supervisor is in charge of everything involving the field on a day to do basis. He’s in charge of all scheduling trucks to pick up/transport equipment from yard to location & vice versa.
• He’s in charge of his crew and discusses who’s hauling what trailer or who’s going where and when, things of that nature.
• Essentially the Supervisor is in charge of a lot. Even though the physical demand isn’t needed as much in that position, I still get down and dirty to earn the respect of my crew. I’m not big on “‘not my job, not my problem.”
