Jackhammering out high temperature resistant refractory to expose and remove shunts surrounding the furnace coil. Removal of coil as to make necessary repairs and application of new shunt packs to existing shunts before placing them around newly inserted coil. Responsible for leading a team to tighten shunts around new coil along with pouring new high temperature resistant refractory as to safely secure shunts and coil inside the furnace form.
