Equipment Technician, Shipping and Receiving
1 Year 1 Month- I was responsible for communicating with customers (usually roofing contractors, and other industrial contractors) on a face to face basis, who would bring in their electronic machines for repair. I would listen to their complaint and tag equipment. Then move the machine to a bench to diagnose and quote the repair. After approval from the customer I would make the repair. We also sold new equipment and parts to distributors around the country. I would gather the items for the orders, box, weigh tag, frequently pallet and ship. I also was responsible for receiving, often times with tow motor forklift.
- Accomplishments
- I have enhanced my skills as a technician working on electronic equipment, 120v and 230v, and have continued my ability to complete any task put in front of me.
- Skills Used
- The ability to troubleshoot, and diagnose broken equipment. Use various shop tools like multi-meters, power tools, hand tools, man lifts, and fork lifts. I also maintained a perfect safety record and an excellent attendance record.
Equipment Manager
3 Years- I diagnosed and repaired electric powered plastic welding equipment 220v and 110v that was used by field crews around the country. I kept parts inventory and supplies for field crews. I dealt with outside vendors, field supervisors and project managers. I operated all terrain forklifts and skid steers loading and off loading materials and supplies. Shipping and receiving. I managed my own productive, clean, and safe work environment.

- By operating an in house shop, repairing, managing, and keeping inventory, I was able to shrink the cost of the equipment being shipped out and worked on, by half if not more.
