I have always had a passion for nursing and as a new grad CNA I would like to further my experience in patient care and continue to work towards my dream of being a registered nurse. This passion grew from my childhood as the oldest of four siblings I have always taken on the caregiver role, serving my family as someone to look up to and seek guidance in has truly been one of the biggest blessings and hope to carry this into my career. The ability to be someone people rely on in a time of need fuels my passion. A little bit about me, both my grandfather and grandmother suffered from dementia and I was there to care for them and provide them with dignity and respect while bathing, feeding, cleaning, and caring for them. This helped teach me the importance of reliability as patients and their families expect from healthcare professionals in a time of need. I have suffered from epilepsy almost my entire life and seeing what nurses do to help support me and my family through those hard times give me all the more drive to chase my dreams.
