Prior to my current relocation to Syracuse, as I joined SUNY ESF, I worked for the Incorporated Village of Valley Stream in the Summers as I was a high school student. While I was not able to build a wildlife background, I was still able to build some crucial working skills during my time working including responsibility, punctuality, customer service and so much more. However, now that I have a chance for greater opportunity it is my ideal that I start working in wildlife shortly, and I believe my beginning experience in my lab will get me ready for this.
Currently, in my Bio 101 lab, we are doing research about the differences between primary and secondary forests, analyzing the pH, diversity, unevenness, EM colonization, and soil depth. With this, I am responsible for collecting data, and analyzing it to determine how this could impact the environment.
