• Assist in the use of Definity echo contrast agent by providing techniques to optimize image quality.
• Work with sonographers, RN's and physicians at various hospitals institutions.
• Teach the ultrasound physics behind ultrasound enhancement agents so that it may be used to it greatest potential.
• Assist with determining suboptimal echocardiograms.
• Further teach the 17 wall segments of the left ventricle and the abnormalities that can be seen with echocardiography. Provide feedback to chief cardiologists, lead sonographers, and medical directors on the quality of the studies

• Responsible for interventional cath lab procedures that involve cardiac ultrasound including pericardiocentesis, PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) and ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) closure devices, Mitral Valve Balloon Valvuloplasty, TAVR's, and Alcohol Septal Ablations.
• Skilled in IV insertion and injection of agitated saline and ultrasound enhancement agents.
• Involved in various research projects that include cardiac ultrasound.
• Knowledgeable with Syngo Dynamics PAC's system.
• Knowledge of IAC criteria and monthly reporting requirements.
• Responsible for the training of new staff, fellows, students, medical residents and attending physicians.
• Responsible for monthly staffing of all cardiac sonographers.
• Conducted monthly Continuing Medical Education meeting for all sonographers.
• Highly skilled in obtaining and cropping 3D TEE ( transesophagael echocardiogram) and TTE (transthoracic echocardiogram) images.
• Knowledge in the use of Strain Speckle tracking technology on Siemens and Philips ultrasound systems.
• Experience in clinical and hospital inpatient environments.
• Ability to perform all forms of Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Stress Echocardiograms on a variety of cardiac ultrasound systems.
• Instrumental in transitioning to our new electronic medical record system, Epic.
• Key leader in configuring all ultrasound machines in the use of Worklist Server modality.

• Perform adult, pediatric, neonatal and stress echocardiograms.

Perform adult echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.

Perform EKG and treadmill stress tests.

Apply holter monitors.
