Bryanna Worthy

I am a junior at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and I am starting to look for positions in the public relations field. As a communications major, I am intrigued by how important a PR practitioner is as a mediator to companies and their public. It is fascinating to see how social media creates this constitutive atmosphere for society. As a PR practitioner, I would love to be a part of the atmosphere. I am also fascinated by the French language and the French culture. Due to my interest in both the French language and public relations, I have decided to minor in French and minor in public relations. Now, and in the past, I've taken several French language courses, French culture courses, public relations courses, and introductory communication courses. I have also taken photography courses and am in the process of making a social media managing course. Through my experience, I have learned that effective communication comes from effective listening and that, as a PR practitioner, both are important for the field. Now, I am looking for an internship to put my skills to the test
