My experience working full time and especially my time as a self employed swim instructor as helped me gain a strong sense of personal responsibility and dedication to succeed based on individual merit. I have learned how to adapt, progress track and specifically lesson plan to target weak areas to help each one of my students succeed. I am able to effectively communicate to create a positive environment of learning and expectations for all age groups.
I also accredit my time as a full time student athlete at Brigham Young University to my personal development and passion for sports and nutrition. I served as a missionary for my church in Ecuador which has broaden my ability to be understanding of other cultures and language allowing me to be able to market to those who may belong to a minority population.
When it comes to the field of nutrition and dietetics I am an autodidact currently enrolled in university as a full time student pre-majoring in dietetics. Although my work experience within the field is minimal, I am self motivated and eager to learn as much as I can to become an effective employee.
Taught daily swim instruction to students varying in ages and skill levels.
