• Led field-based marine science programs focused on Oyster Bay ecology, incorporating a live invertebrate touch-tank, shell identification and interpretation, and seine net sampling.
• Educated people of all ages about Christeen, the oldest oyster sloop in the United States, and often lead wildlife tours, touch tanks, and cruises on her through the Long Island Sound.
• Developed and taught hands-on lessons for children in the Junior Summer Education Program, incorporating crafts, lectures, games, and guided kayak tours.

• Educated students from elementary school through college on exotic zoo animals, covering ecology, physiology, habitat, adaptations, diet, behavior, classification, and conservation in both captive and wild settings.
• Led informative and engaging 30-minute Serengeti Safari tours, educating guests on African ungulates and demonstrating safe giraffe feeding from a 20-passenger safari truck.

• Supported wildlife rehabilitation through animal feeding and care, habitat maintenance, medical record organization, and animal release.
• Contributed photographs for nonprofit social media and fundraising.

• Conducted field research on the Piping Plover (Charadrius melodus), a New York State endangered and federally threatened shorebird, at Robert Moses State Park.
• Monitored and documented all mating, adult pair, nest, egg, chick, fledgling, and predation activities.
• Observed and recorded nesting and behavioral patterns of the Piping Plover, along with other shorebird species such as the Common Tern and Black Skimmer, through daily field reports.
• Protected active nests by installing protective enclosures following egg-laying observations.

Studied, constructed, and presented reports on multiple biology labs, including how varying flatworms regenerate after amputation of specific body parts, the importance of manganese nodules, and impacts of pollution in the Atlantic Ocean.

Developed skills used in the laboratory, such as critical thinking skills, writing enhancement, using proper equipment, public speaking, partnership, and more.
