Bryson Willoughby

Dear Hiring Manager,

Throughout the years of my studies in the Criminal Justice field, I have developed a passion for the

safety and well being of our country and its citizens. I am excited to be applying for the U.S. Border

Patrol Agent position. I understand that the duty of a Border Patrol Agent is to protect and secure our

countries ports of entry from terrorists, weapons, drugs, illegal undocumented aliens, and more. To do

There is much involvement in teamwork, communication with others, and intuition.

I have acquired skills within the communication field and have managerial experience in customer

service, hospitality, and minor security. These experiences have shaped me into an efficient, effective,

and a well- trusted worker who is willing and able to accept responsibility. I have gained much experience

in the managerial field of leadership as well as effective communication. In the past, I have been trusted

with tasks such as operating the entirety of a business, handling funds, guiding a team, and becoming

an effective and efficient leader. Dealing with society is apart of everyday life, I have also developed an

intermediate level of understanding and communication ability in a bi-lingual language of Spanish. This

skill is helpful within the state of Arizona, especially being located near the Mexico border. In regard to

the responsibility and tasks that Border Patrol Agents hold, I am well informed and educated on the

proper use of a firearm.

Upon approaching my final year of education at the University of Arizona, I will obtain my bachelors

degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Communication as well. I am well disciplined, prepared, eager

to learn, and excited to join the team. I have proper firearm training, communication skills in another

language, and etiquette experience in leadership and teamwork. Thank you for your time and I look
