  • Oversee all Development, Enrollment Management, and Marketing/Communications for the school.
  • Manage an office of ten advancement professionals.
  • Serve 5th and 6th grade students as a mentor during lunch two days each week.
  • Write and implement a Leadership Development course for 6th grade students.
  • Build an alumni engagement model that fosters a great alumni community and alumni support of the school.

  • A youth lacrosse program for grades 1 through 6, dedicated to growing boys in the game of lacrosse and as young men
  • Coach all games and practices from February through May
  • Constant contact is maintained with Parents/Guardians of players to make sure they are having the best possible experience
  • Hire Young Men to coach these adolescents, so that they may set a great example and be a very positive influence in the lives of the boys
  • Host Most of the games and all of the practices at MUS, so that these potential families feel as if MUS is a home for them.

Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

  • Uphold the standards and expectations of the MUS mission statement and implement them through meeting potential families, current students, and co-workers
  • Manage the Admissions office (12 months), always seeking to improve the enrollment of the school in number, but most importantly, in quality of the student and his family

  • Manage relationships within the greater Memphis community (local business, realtors, etc.) to generate great word-of-mouth advertising
  • Lead the Admissions Committee meetings throughout the school year and discuss applicants
  • Lead the Financial Aid Committee, managing a need-based financial aid budget of over $2.9 Million
  • This helps lead the school to its mission of developing well-rounded young men of strong moral character.

Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach

  • Lead 70 young men every day to improve in lacrosse, but most importantly work with each other and become high character individuals
  • Create a team-first atmosphere that runs efficiently and represents MUS well

  • Guide young men to be high character individuals while improving skills that will give them every opportunity to broaden their collegiate and professional endeavors

  • Downline ministries is a year-long Bible teaching ministry in Memphis that encourages participants to 'Equip, Unleash, and Disciple.' Throughout your time as a student, you hear from various ministers that will come and teach on a section of the Bible
  • At the end of the 12 month period, you will have finished the majority of the Bible
  • The main objective is to share the Lord’s Word with others and 'Disciple.' You are to obtain a group of people to disciple and meet with them to share what you have learned once a week
  • My groups were two grades at MUS
  • We would meet every Friday morning and discuss the topic at hand and grow closer through the Word
  • As an aside, this program is where I met my wife and may be the most important experience I have had on this resume.

Associate

  • I was an associate for an apartment management company in the renovation and restoration of apartment properties
  • Helped control capital expenditures on existing properties as well as analyzing costs on potential new acquisitions
  • Maintained a subsidiary company produced the maintenance equipment for the capital expenditures and controlled the equipment being placed into those respective properties
  • Managed and maintained a procurement branch in the company that involved communicating contracts, presented business strategies, and saving funds throughout the entire portfolio
  • Traveled with investors to various properties to manage the various items being placed the actual multifamily complexes.
