Director of Volunteers for grassroots, non-profit food resource hub that supplies seniors, disabled residents, cancer patients, and low-income families in Northwest Philadelphia with healthy and nutritious surplus food. Volunteers provide monthly home delivery for 150 residents and and support various other food justice and food waste projects.

Trained as a movement organizer towards revolutionary change. Used framework of history, political economy, strategy, and skills to develop understanding of mutual constitution of capitalism, slavery and colonization, and patriarchy to provide roadmap for deconstructing oppressive systems.

Engaged in intensive workshops for white activists and organizers to strengthen anti-racist work. Increased understanding of how racism functions in nonprofits, organizing groups, and other community spaces. Built concrete skills to be an accountable accomplice to people of color, work in anti-racist coalitions, and address racist situations at work and home.
