I initially joined Waterway Dental Care as a business assistant/dental assistant with the understanding that I would transition into a dental assisting role once one became available. Unfortunately, that opportunity never opened up. Since dental assisting is my true passion, I accepted an opening at The Mill Dental Care, where I could focus fully on assisting.

• Assist during root canal procedures, sedation cases and apico surgery's
• Also help doctors with evaluations and tests to figure out what tooth is the issue
• Properly document patient information and complete my notes efficiently
• Take x rays and write and send referrals and x rays when necessary
• I was cross trained and can also check in patients, answer the phones, quote patients, take payment and check them out

• I am xray certified
• I prophy and do sealants on all patients if needed!
• I also work in Treatment Rooms to provide proper treatment for our children!
• Pulpotomy, stainless steal crowns, amalgam fillings, extractions and composite fillings
• We provide n2o for our patients as well!
• Proper precautions for Hippa and osha and also cpr certified

I wasn’t at this position for very long because I was offered a better opportunity that aligned more closely with what my son and I needed.
