Volunteer Experience

Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, Connecting Community and Wildlife. 

Educating the local community about wildlife, and how to protect oneself and wild animals. This event included the setting up of enclosures and transportation of wild animals, continuous care of wild animals, enforcement of safety precautions and protocols, interaction with guests, facility tours, and more. I completed over one hundred hours of volunteer work and various animal knowledge tests for the privilege of participating in this event.

Projects

2018 SMaRT Workshop for Kids — Robot Building, Hosted and planned a robotics class for the Science, Math and Related Technologies Workshop for Kids as Vice-President of the Science Club- Monroe. An effort to foster interest in STEM through hands-on teaching about the benefits and functions of robots. With the help of club members, each child, approximately 45, built a small, motorized machine to take home.
