Rookie of the Year in Hockey

I went to Connecticut College for a year. During my time there, I practiced and played with edge to ensure that I could play at a higher level than Division 3. In the season, I averaged about a point per game as a freshman. However, this achievement wasn't mine alone; if it wasn't for my team, who helped give me the confidence I needed to play with my heart, not just skill alone. In my time at Connecticut College, I learned more about myself and found that I have a strong work ethic, and I am great in team environments. When I was named Rookie of the Year, it was due to the fact that I worked on my craft until perfection. Which eventually got me to play Division 1 hockey this year.
