I have been in the health care field for four and a half years, and a registered nurse for six months. Some characteristics that describe me include confident, persistent, willing to learn, and a detailed-oriented. I have always found myself interested in learning about how the wounds created in surgery or at bedside heal in different patient demographics. A career to aid patients healing and prevent further disfunction is thrilling. In surgery, patient outcomes are not often visualized. Seeing them recuperate is one of the most rewarding compliments as a healthcare worker. . Every patient is different, which means different healing as well. It is fascinating to connect the different disease processes with a patient's individualized treatment plan. It is a desire of mine to investigate the human body further, and how it regenerates in different environments.
