I started here as a CNA and worked my way through nursing school. When I received my RN, I stayed at the nursing home to run their 6 bed skilled unit where I was responsible for the daily needs of 4-6 residents as well as the state mandated charting required for that level of care. The unit was new and I was the first RN to help get it up and running, organize it and develop standards of care.
