- My transitions rotation was at the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital. I took vitals, did patient assessments, cared for patients who were intubated, had chest tubes, and were on continuous renal replacement therapy. I cared for patients who had complex care and improved on prioritizing interventions and patient needs.
