I gained valuable hands-on experience while working at the Jackson College Jets Store, where I developed strong customer service and retail skills in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included assisting customers with purchases, answering questions about merchandise and textbooks, and ensuring the store remained organized and visually appealing. I learned how to operate the register quickly and efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and manage inventory by restocking shelves and keeping track of popular items. This role has helped me build strong communication skills, as I interacted with a wide range of customers, and taught me the importance of teamwork and reliability in maintaining smooth daily operations. Overall, my experience at the Jets Store has strengthened my work ethic and prepared me for future opportunities in customer-focused roles.

During my eight months working at B&B Hardware in, I developed a strong foundation in customer service, problem-solving, and product knowledge. In this role, I assisted customers in finding the right tools, hardware, and materials for their projects, often helping them troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions. I handled tasks such as stocking inventory, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and efficient store environment. I also gained experience operating the register and managing transactions accurately. This position strengthened my ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, adapt to different situations, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
