· 2022 to present - Supervision of the Investigations Bureau consists of Crimes against Property and Persons Detectives.

Management of investigations, reviewing operational game plans, and supervision of search warrant operations. Additional responsibilities include scheduling, reviewing search warrants, assigning investigative follow-up, and maintaining the on-call Detective calendar. On-call for any patrol-related investigations in which a Detective may need to respond. Supervision of the Property and Evidence personnel.

Directly involved in the training, development, and supervision of current SWAT team members. Assist the Tactical Commander in the management of active high-risk situations such as barricaded armed suspects, hostage situations, and high-risk warrant service. I have held numerous team positions including, Asst. Scout, Scout, and Team Leader.

Assisted in the development and implementation of the Peer Support / Officer Wellness Team Manual. Involved in the planning of critical incident debriefs. Served the family of Officer Luca Benedetti as the Department Liaison after his end of watch. Led the organization efforts of memorial events for the Benedetti and PD Family. Additionally, I was honored to give the eulogy at the service for Officer Benedetti.

Held a variety of positions within the department including Defensive Tactics Instructor, SWAT Team Member, Special Enforcement Team Detective (2007-2009) and (2015-2021), Crimes Against Persons Detective, Field Training Officer, and Patrol Officer. Mobile Field Force Trainer / Coordinator, SWAT Command Team.

Sergeant assigned to patrol. I oversaw the day-to-day operations of a patrol shift as the line-level supervisor. I was responsible for report approvals and training of assigned officers.

Sergeant assigned to the Downtown Bicycle Team. I supervised a three-person bicycle patrol team including scheduling and report approvals. During this assignment, I was responsible for collaborating with our downtown association to address specific problems affecting our downtown business district. I worked closely with restaurants and bars to provide training for their employees around alcohol sales best practices and Alcoholic Beverage Control laws.
