Caleb Rodriguez

I've been playing soccer since I was 5 and have had an interest in sports a majority of my life. I'm a center back in soccer and show leadership towards my team, and I'm committed to the things I pursue. I take pride in doing things the right way, and making sure they are done efficiently. I've done track for my high school, and have had an interest in that as well. I take both honors and normal classes at school. I took one year of yearbook and plan to take it again this upcoming year, as my career interest is something like sports journalism. I like to write about things that I am passionate about, or things that I have an interest in. My goal for my future self is to become a professional soccer player, and to be able to provide for my family. I want to start this by creating habits of working early and provide for myself. I continue to work hard to achieve my goals, like going on runs and doing physical activities that help me physically for my sport.

• I have a 4.140 GPA in school currently
• I have had honor roll consistently throughout my middle and high school years
• I've won a national youth soccer championship with my club soccer team
• I won a weight room award for my conditioning class in school
• I scored the winning goal for the CIF Open Division semi-final game and appeared on OC register.

An extracurricular activity that I focus on is soccer. I focus on it heavily as it is my goal to pursue a career with it. I enjoy it and it has brought me many of the relationships I have today. It has brought me to Orange Lutheran High School, and has given me many opportunities to travel the world and compete. Even on hard days where I've had rough games or practices, I still come back to it the next day, and push myself to get better.
