Hello, my name is Caleb Salinas. I am a 20 year old EMT with a year of experience. I am not only experience as a EMT, I have been working since I was 16 years old in environments that required leadership and teamwork. I graduated Granada High School in 2022 with a job as a busser in a Italian restaurant. I knew as I graduated I wanted to join the fire service but did not know what I should take as my first step. So I enrolled in the fire science classes at Las Positas College. I also left my job and got hired at Costco in the meat department. It did not take long to realize my new job was not a step towards my goal which was firefighting. I ended up leaving Costco only 6 months after being hired to pursue EMT school. After graduating I got hired at Norcal Ambulance and have been working hard, passionately and determined for a year now. I love to work and it has been something that was built into me from a young age not only from previous jobs but from sports, dedication in the gym, school, and my upbringing.
