- I created and operated The Nest, which is a social media account for the Eastern High School student section. The Nest posts about the schools games for almost every sport, and the goal is to get students aware of, but more importantly excited to attend the games, which boosts ticket sales and game attendance. This account has made a huge impact on the Eastern Boys' Basketball student section. Before this account was created, we averaged around 100 students per game, and now we average close 200 students per game, and close to 300 for the big home games. - I was a Student Manager for the Eastern High School Boys' Basketball Team. I assisted in practice drills, filled up waters and assisted with anything they needed. I went to every practice and every game, and was striving to be a helping hand for anyone and anything. I was also a big encourager and motivator for the team. This was not a paid position, it was more of an voluntary internship so that I could learn some of the ins and outs of sports administration first hand.
