In my weekly volunteer role within the cardiovascular department I provide support to the medical staff by executing simple yet essential tasks such as delivering samples to the lab and ensuring the seamless restocking of materials and equipment. This hands-on experience has allowed me to better prioritize and manage tasks more efficiently to contribute to the department's smooth operations. Working closely with medical professionals has strengthened my attention to detail. Moreover, this role has cultivated my ability to successfully collaborate in a healthcare setting, where teamwork and communication are crucial.

Level Up is an after school program that focuses on cultivating children's passions through a wide range of engaging activities. Each class was designed to combine an educational lesson with a hands-on activity. For instance, I facilitated lessons on subjects like gravity and structures, followed by interactive projects such as building marble roller coasters. This role not only allowed me to fuel the curiosity of students but also sharpened my instructional and communication skills. Additionally, I developed effective lesson planning and classroom management techniques, ensuring a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere for the children.

During my shadowing experience at the clinic I had the opportunity to observe and learn from a skilled cosmetic surgeon. Immersed in the clinic's environment, I gained firsthand insights into various procedures and techniques related to facial aesthetics and reconstructive surgery. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the intricate aspects of cosmetic procedures but also allowed me to witness the importance of patient care and communication in this specialized field.

Throughout High school I worked as the lead volunteer at the Hotel for Cats and Dogs, a local animal shelter. I worked closely with the shelter's veterinarian, where I aided in administering vaccinations and medical care. I also recorded and tracked the vital signs and health records of the shelter's residents, contributing to the efficient monitoring and care of each individual animal. Beyond medical care, I actively participated in the day-to-day operations, undertaking tasks like cleaning cages and ensuring the animals' well-being during walks. In addition through personalized interactions I provided information about each animal's temperament, health, and unique qualities, facilitating successful adoptions.
