Promoted to Training Supervisor January 2023. Responsible for the training of new apprentices and refresher training of Head Controllers & Journeymen Controllers.

Assisted in posting jobs for new incoming apprentices and interviewed candidates.

• Created learning criteria for the apprentices.
• Arrange field trips to AOC training facility and onsite field visits
• Project manager for new E-Learning/Online training program for apprentices to use. This is still in progress.
• Rewriting training manuals for all apprentices.

• Helped in training and refresher training of apprentices and Journeyman
• Worked closely with Controllers and contractors to resolve problems.
• Filled out the weekly overtime schedule per the Local 66 CBA
• Scheduled & held yearly safety meetings with CNP Contractors.
• EOP roll working with DPM group as a liaison between DVAL & DCO.
• Approving time in SAP for controllers

• Oversee the Distribution Control Floor, Move Controllers around as needed to help out other Controllers.
• Answer, help and assist Controllers do their daily job.
• Help train Apprentices.
• Receive switching request and assign them to a Controller.
• Check Switching Orders for accuracy.
• Process switching orders and send them back to the services centers and contract venders

• As a Journeyman Controller, ran the trouble radio, wrote & executed URD, 3 Phase UG & Overhead Switching Orders.
• I worked all shifts days, evening & Graveyard Shifts with various days off.
• Union Steward for our department
• Temporary upgraded to Head Controller when needed.

Completed 3 year apprenticeship in Distribution Control.

Third Year - Over Head & 3 phase UG training
