Electrician

JBS Pilgrims
08.2024 - 01.2025
  • While employing I would do all live and dead work inside electrical panels. This includes wiring up new panels, programming Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDS, and setting parameters on drives. This also includes wiring 480, 277, and 120 volt systems, as well as 12v and 24v D/C control systems. We often used transformers and VFDS to create a 12/24v control system from 120/240/480v. I would troubleshoot while equipment is live or dead, depending on the situation. I would also ensure all functioning breaker panels in the facility were operating correctly, wire up outlets and extension cords, and also wire motors either in a star/Y setup, or in Delta, depending on the amount power required.
  • Installed and maintained electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnosed electrical issues and implemented effective solutions to minimize downtime.
