Homeland Security Intelligence Analyst

  • Analyzed open source intelligence data focusing on threats, risks and vulnerabilities within the state of New Mexico, to include but not limited to: domestic and foreign terrorism, violent extremism, transnational criminal organizations, critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR), and suspicious activity reporting for the New Mexico All Source Intelligence Center (NMASIC).
  • Strengthened situational awareness among Federal, State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) law enforcement agencies, emergency managers, critical infrastructure operators, and key stakeholders by delivering concise, actionable intelligence reports, briefings and situational awareness bulletins.
  • Created comprehensive risk assessments to support proactive security measures and contingency planning for events such as the El Santuario de Chimayo Pilgrimage, Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and other major events requiring increased all-hazards situational awareness.
  • Assisted NMASIC in creating the 2024 New Mexico State Threats Summary where I was responsible for assessing the threats and vulnerabilities of New Mexico's Critical Infrastructure, Key Resources, and Cybersecurity.
  • Managed and developed the Higher Education Threat Working Group in conjunction with universities and colleges around the state to identify, assess, and share information on threats to college campuses.
  • Acted as a lead for NMASIC during the 2024 U.S. Presidential Elections and helped coordinate intelligence analysis and security with the New Mexico Secretary of State's Election Security team to ensure all threats and hazards were addressed.
