- This was my first work experience - starting at 15 years old.
- I learned how to do many of the things necessary to run a successful restaurant.
- I also learned how to work with other people as a member of a team and to make sure all responsibilities were met.
- I later moved to a shift leader position; this role was made for someone controlling the back of the store while the manager was working the front of the store.
- I gained experience learning how to keep production running and learning how to manage issues as they arose in a fast-paced environment.
- This position taught me leadership skills and getting a team to work together to complete goals.
- It also provided the opportunity to learn teaching skills which allowed me to guide team members who needed help.
