Conduct Chart Audits 

• Reviewed and evaluated patient charts to verify proper documentation on restraint charting and pain assessment per hospital policy, and addressed charting discrepancies providing feedback to staff to improve nursing practices

Big Brother's Big Sister's Volunteer

• Mentorship program providing regular one-on-one meetings facilitated through community activities, providing emotional support and guidance, and positive role modeling to foster personal growth in our youth

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Shadowing

• Shadowed three Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists gaining insight to anesthesia planning, administration, and patient monitoring processes during surgical procedures
• Completed 20 total hours of shadowing experience both at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and Geisinger Medical Center

Children's Home of Pittsburgh and Lemieux Family Center Volunteer

• Provided nurturing care as a baby holder, comforting infants that did not have family present, and engaged in age-appropriate play activities
