  • Screened patients for an Eli Lilly clinical trial for adolescent Chron’s disease treatment by reviewing the medical charts of ~80 patients per week and determining whether they were eligible for the trial

College Accomplishments

  • Club Filipino, Co-President, 2022-2023, Elected as co-president. My roles include managing an executive board of fourteen, communicating with other clubs and the university, and spearheading the planning of numerous events that catered to hundreds of attendees. Organized Georgetown’s first soccer tournament between all the Asian ethnic clubs on campus to help build community among minorities.
  • Operations, Part of the executive board, 2021-2022, Helped with the daily functioning of the club, as well as help create and plan more events.
  • Vice President of Project Sunshine, Current vice president, 2021-2022, I am the current vice president of Project Sunshine, which is a college branch of the national organization, whose goal is to carry out fun and educational activities with the pediatric transplant patients at Georgetown MedStar Hospital to help ease their stay. During 2021-2022, I was elected as the Member-at-Large, whose role was to act as the touch point between the board and the members, helping to strengthen the community of the club. As current vice president, my job is to help organize and plan craft-making and fundraising events. I also act as one of the main correspondents with the national organization as well as MedStar.
