  • At Pecos Pit Barbeque, I was given the opportunity to expand my knowledge of computer and cashier operations as i was often the person in charge of ringing up costumers as well as maintaining a positive costumer experience and conversation as their food was being made. This taught me how to handle cash and card cashier systems with ac curacy while also being responsible for processing costumer orders, providing change, and maintaining an organized and efficent payment process. This job also allowed me to expand my organizational skills as me and my coworker each shirt were responsible for not only preparing our food load for the day, but also transporting it to our destination. This taught me how to continue to keep an organized work space while also being under a time crunch at times. Overall, this job was beneficial to my career development skills because it allowed me to engage with costumers and create meaningful connections with them as well as my coworkers.

This experience not only allowed me to share my knowledge but also enhanced my leadership and mentoring skills.
