I babysit some family members and for kids of family friends, and sometimes I have babysit for others outside my family that I do not know. During the summer every year since I could start babysitting at 13, I have been babysitting for a family friends two children for about 3 weeks during the summer from around 7am-3pm from Monday-Friday, and that is how I would get my income, and every now and then I will babysit my brother or my cousin.

• Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room.
• Maintained a clean and organized environment to ensure the well-being of children under care.
• Prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.
• Reassured children when upset providing emotional support and stability.
• Bathed, dressed, and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation.
• Assisted with meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry to support family with additional chores.

I would go to Cosco a few times to buy the required goods for Beans Cafe to feed the people in need, and I actually did this a few times a year, and even volunteer during the time of Thanksgiving a few times, so the people in need could have something to eat during Thanksgiving.

During middle school, there was a cafe in the school that people had a chance to work in for a semester, and I occasionally made americanos, lattes, mochas, smoothies, and more beverages. I actually learned a lot during this time period, and now I know how to work a espresso machine and blenders, and know how to make certain drinks. I would make the drinks for teachers and students who ordered at the cafe. This was a good, fun, working experience for me.
