Developed and Launched a District‑Wide New Hire Training Program Partnered directly with the Shell Oil Company CEO and the District Manager to design and implement a standardized new‑hire training program for all 13 store locations across South Mississippi. This initiative created a centralized two‑week training process that ensured every new employee received consistent, high‑quality onboarding before being placed at their designated store.
Established the District’s First Dedicated Training Store Led the transition of one store into the official training hub for the entire district. All new hires completed their onboarding, uniform and name‑tag issuance, policy review, and hands‑on training at this location, allowing managers at other stores to focus on operations while maintaining confidence in the quality of incoming staff.
Streamlined Hiring, Onboarding, and Evaluation Processes Oversaw application reviews, interviews, background checks, and onboarding documentation for all locations. Conducted final employee evaluations at the end of the two‑week training period to determine readiness and placement. This system improved hiring accuracy, reduced turnover, and ensured every store received fully prepared employees.
Improved Operational Efficiency Across 13 Stores By centralizing training and onboarding, reduced the workload on individual store managers and created a consistent pipeline of trained, evaluated, and job‑ready employees. This initiative strengthened district‑wide performance, improved staffing reliability, and enhanced overall customer service quality.
