As Captain Sam I have been driving boats for hire out of the Chicago harbors for the past 12 years I captain for both private individuals and public charter companies

Last season I was on the water 90 times; out of five different Chicago harbors The vessels that I have driven have been of many different manufacturers with the sizes ranging from the 30-foot range to the 50 ft range on average

I have been the captain of the "Yachts of Fun" for the last 4 years and I was one of the captains that brought it to DuSable harbor in Chicago from upstate New York

My first boating experiences began in my mid-20s when I acquired my first two boats and took my first boating class through the United States Coast Guard I also hold a PADI Dive Master certification which I have had since the early '90s

During the last three boating seasons in Chicago I have driven over 18 different vessels I am on the Captain's list of over half a dozen public boat charter companies I drive for them during the late spring, summer and fall months when requested

I hold a US Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Master Captain's license

I am skilled on the water, with boats and skilled with people also
