- Educated patients on postoperative and general oral health care by suggesting warm salt water rinsing, pain medication dosage, flossing methods, brushing techniques and possible risk and complications. And assisting in the packing of a dry socket whenever issue did arise.
- Ensured Consent forms were signed for all procedures such as RCT consents, PRF consents, Laser treatment, Extraction/ bone graft, Immediate/ delayed Implant placement, Crown/ bridge warranty, Denture try-in consents, Sedation consents, and Periodontal consents.
- Entered patient data/ treatment plan into dental records system using Softdent and maintained confidentiality to ensure patient privacy. Assisted in writing clinical notes for the doctor.
- Took patient CT and panoramic scans using Smart Scan Studio software and transferring scans to CD disk for an outside office to view.
- Assisted in contacting outside practice for Implant information and ordering Equipment of various implant systems to begin preparing the Abutment and crowns for existing implants that were placed at an outside office.
- Completed suture removal appointments, 3 week check, 2 month check's, and 3 month check's following implant placements for the Doctor. Properly informed the Doctor if any situation for concern arose.
- Have assisted multiple root canal procedures and Sinus Augmentations done by an Endodontist, Assisted Gum grafting procedures with a Periodontist. Assisted multiple General Dentist's in multiple and singular Implant placement procedures including flapping of the tissue and performing immediate sinus lift with bone replacement.
