-Provide exceptional care to patients and their families on a trauma-surgical floor
-Perform head-to-toe assessments, transcribe and initiate physician orders, and administer medications to a diverse patient population while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
-Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize nursing interventions based on patients’ acuity levels and individual needs.
-Provide patient education on nursing interventions, disease processes, medications, procedures, and at-home wound and drain care.
-Assist in the training and mentorship of new nursing staff members, contributing to a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
-Serve as a preceptor for nursing students during their clinical rotations, providing valuable real-world experience and guidance to foster professional growth.
-Improve patient outcomes by implementing evidence-based nursing interventions and individualized care plans.
