As a 911 Dispatcher, I began with a structured training program to gain knowledge of each municipality within the county, as well as the overall operations of the communications center. This included coursework and certification in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), CPR, and other required qualifications. I then advanced to hands-on training within the communications center with a trainer, gaining experience in police dispatch operations. In this role, I developed the ability to prioritize and relay critical information efficiently, managed multiple active calls across different towns, and maintain clear and effective communication. The position requires strong multitasking and active listening skills, as well as the ability to remain calm, precise, and decisive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while collaborating effectively with team members.

• Discovered this amazing job senior year of college and sadly had to depart after graduating this May. Rook establishment facilitated in growing my experience in teamwork, fast-paced work ethic, consistence in quality customer service and the ability to produce excellent coffee. While working there customer interactions were a daily part of my job allowing me to gain a sense of community within Long Branch from our regular customers, as well for the ability to resolve difficult situations or errors with thorough consideration.

• Working at PriorityVet as a CCR and veterinary assistant allowed for a new experience into the vet field and knowledge that was applied everyday even outside of work. Having the opportunity to learn allowed for me to gain the skills to comprehend urgency within the workplace, especially for critical cases. Time management within certain tasks, and the courage to not be afraid in situations I have never been in before. Working with multiple doctors adapting to different methods.

• My summer experience as a veterinary assistant provided invaluable exposure to the inner workings of a veterinary practice. Despite having no prior experience, I thrived in this educational environment, eagerly absorbing knowledge, and skills. At the front desk, I mastered appointment scheduling, differentiating between routine checkups and urgent cases, and ensuring adequate time for surgeries. Meticulous attention to detail was essential for accurately recording patient information and maintaining organized files. Additionally, I learned proper cleaning protocols and efficient phone communication techniques.

• During my time as a retail associate further developed my interpersonal skills by attentively addressing customer needs and preferences for clothing and accessories. Working in a surf-style boutique environment, I learned the importance of maintaining a visually appealing store, actively engaging with customers, managing inventory, and processing sales. These valuable skills directly contributed to my success in subsequent roles, equipping me with the ability to effectively manage customer interactions, meet their demands, and consistently maintain a professional demeanor.

• As a waitress I consistently demonstrated strong customer service skills by providing attentive and efficient service to restaurant patrons, even during high-volume periods. I developed excellent communication skills through engaging with customers and handling phone orders for the pizzeria. My contributions extended to quickly clearing and resetting tables to ensure a positive dining experience for new guests. Throughout my time with Cioffi's, I progressed from pizzeria staff to busser and ultimately to waitress, showcasing my adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills.
