Direct patient care in an inpatient oncology unit. Work alongside registered nurses in providing excellent care to our patients. Direct patient care inpatient clinical setting. Excellent communication with

allied healthcare staff. Performed hourly rounds and assisted patients with

activities of daily living. Assisted during emergency codes. Notified RN of any

abnormalities or changes in patient condition. Held the highest level of

dignity and respect to patients. Experience in various departments

including MED/SURG/TELE, Oncology, Orthopedics, PCU, and ICU.

Preparing medications/treatments to everyone's needs/orders as well as

documentation on electronic MAR/charting systems. Communication

between physicians/allied medical personnel and families. Responding to

emergencies and activating emergent medical services, minimally invasive

wound care, and vital signs/ glucose checks. Assisting with each resident's

individual needs and service plans as requested and needed.

Assisting with care and ADLs within the permitted scope of practice with

certification. Responding to resident’s needs and answering their pendant

calls promptly to ensure optimal care. Doing checks throughout shift to

ensure the safety of residents and communicating changes with residents to

RN/LVNs assigned to patients.
