  • As the regional Digital Operations portfolio lead, we began to create a regional team from scratch in which we have defined the Digital Operations portfolio as internal consultas for the LATAM terminals so we can support: Terminal Operating system (Navis N4), standardization and support of Gate Operating systems, EDI messaging, Billing systems, ERP Integrations, Workforce management systems and Asset Digitization

  • We again started from scratch with no Data Center our first step was to create one based on global standards, in which we now host a VMware cluster with 4 servers and an SAN connected via fibre Channel, we host a state of the art CCTV with IA analytics and based on the global network reference architecture which segregated the IT/OT environments in the local network and added security with a mix of solutions (Checkpoint, Cisco and Ubiquiti)
  • This set the terminal on a modernization journey in which started with the implementation of a wireless network in this case we decided for a 5G private LTE network by Nokia NDAC setting the right scene for the most important implementation yet which is the Terminal Operating System Navis N4 and N4 Billing, and new solutions to be added with the proper foundations such as Kronos, Salesforce and a robust Access Control System putting the Yucatan terminal on one of the most technologically advanced in the APMT portfolio, always seeking the cost reduction, revenue increase by optimizing the terminal overall operations
  • In addition to my IT manager role, I also became a Lean trainer and Ways of working coach for all the functions
