As an intern at the Salem County Health Department, I gained hands-on experience in public health initiatives, community outreach, and health education. I developed skills in data collection, program coordination, and effective communication with diverse populations. This experience enhanced my ability to analyze health concerns, collaborate with professionals, and contribute to promoting wellness within the community. It also reinforced the importance of preventive care, public policy, and the role of local health departments in improving population health.

Provided me with the ability to be patient, while paying attention to details and making quick decisions. The experience helped develop empathy and understanding of individual needs.

As an assistant middle school coach, I developed leadership and mentoring skills by guiding young athletes in teamwork, discipline, and confidence-building. I learned how to create engaging practice plans, provided constructive feedback, and fostered and positive team environments. This experience also enhanced my communication and problem solving abilities while reinforcing the importance of patients and adaptability in a coaching role
